Minecraft minigame: Speed Builders

Now it was time to return back to play minigames in Minecraft. I haven't played in Mineplex before but now I had to try it out when they offered a minigame called Speed Builder! I just went to European server (eu.mineplex.com) and logged in.

Speed Builder is simple game. On each game there can be 8 participants. On very round you will have few seconds to watch the model what you need to build. When the model disappears you have 30 seconds time to copy it. Challenge is also that you can't fly so you need to build like you were playing survival mode. And that you have only that amount of building materials what you need. No more or less.

Sometimes 56% is enough to survive from elimination.

When I tested the game I find it very difficult at first. You need to have a good memory to memorize all the details in ten seconds and then build them in 30 seconds. If you build your structure on wrong tiles you are most likely eliminated fast. Since every round there will be elimination. The one who gains lowest complete percent on the round will be eliminated. If everyone succeeds to build exact copy about the model there won't be elimination on that round. 

At times even I can be succesfull.

But after playing this game I quite enjoyed it. Comparing to Build battle I like the fact that opinions of the other players does not matter. You can manage well with your own talents and not being voted out randomly by other players. So if I am eliminated fast by Gwen I just know that I need to improve my building and memory. So if you wanna try how good you're building fast, I can recommend to try Speed Builders. It is fun game and takes less than 15 minute to play through so good game for a little break. There were other interesting games in Mineplex also so I might tell about them on another time.

Minecraft minigames: Build battle!

Lately I have found myself playing Minecraft again but instead of building my own world I played some minigames again. Now I just tried Hypixels games. If you want to try them out log into multiplayer server. The address is mc.hypixel.net.

There are several games in Hypixel but first I decided to try  minigame called Build Battle. There you will build from blogs something what is like theme informs. And you have only five minutes time to finish your work. Then each participant will evaluate others work and vote about them.

Basketball was hard theme for me.

It is hard to build fast something. I also noticed that I have some lag problems since my character freezed for short moment. You can add special miniblogs, voices, weather and climate to your work so that you can make it nighttime if you prefer that over the daylight. But it takes some time to learn to use blogs and stuff fast. At least it was hard to me since I am get used to build slowly. So this is good practice.

Build battle is nice since it won't take much time but still it has challenge. Even it really depends with who you're playing that how your rating can be. I noticed that some of the participants always voted  things being bad no matter how well they were made. Perhaps I am disappointed a little as well since when you try your best, it would be nice to get positive feedback instead of lols. But since you  can't choose with who you're playing.. it will always be that way. At times you have nice team in game and best work wins. And at times there are friends who votes each other to win, Depends on your luck, truly.

Build battle is for those who loves to build in Minecraft. Lack of time gives extra challenge but it is nice way to work your building skills better. At least I tend to think so since you have to be creative when themes can be everything from sharks to sports. But if you wanna give it a shot it will be easy to try.

Minecraft and Barn!

Do you know what is good thing in Minecraft? You can actually play it whenever you have time, even 15 minutes. If I play first person shooters or rolegames, 15 minutes is too short time to finish but in Minecraft  I can hop in mine a little or fish and then log off. Probably that is one of the reasons I like to play it. At times I so busy to do other things that I can't spend hours in the evening for playing something.

Roofs are always so difficult to me since I make them to look silly.

Now I have gotten more familiar with Minecraft. System was good but  been finding new things for me, like bunnies or new stones. Like I am slowly making a small fortress using granite. And now finished minibarn or shelter made from diorite. Of course in real barn I need to have cows inside but I will do that later. now I just have store for wheat, potatoes and carrots. Ihave to say how the new stones look like and bunnies are cute. Also seem to be able to find various fishes from the water when fishing.. but what else. I will see when have time to return in game once again.

I started to make small fortress from granite. Now looks simply funny when not finished. (and yeah.. tower looks stupid, need to fix it somehow, maybe using dark oak wood also.)

I have also started to think if I would try some server where are others playing also. I have mostely played Minecraft alone or with few people so occupied server would be nice change. If you can recommend any, I would be glad to get the hint!
